Hey hi heller,

Shhh. Don't mention that we missed June, if you've been following on IG we had some ahem...things to make clear. But now we're back with events, offers, news, and Community Web. Your opens are ALWAYS appreciated, so keep em coming.

Now leggo⬇️

Events

Tomorrow, July 22 at 5:30 Opera on Tap auf der weise at German-American Institute with special guests Opera on the Lake. I'm doing my public debut of Prendi per me sei libero.

I'm honored to judge again for the Broadway Bound competition produced by
Mohr Music Studio. If you're a voice teacher with musical theater students between the ages of 8-18 applications are open until July 25. Each student receives judges comments and there are cash prizes available!

And then Vox Nova Chorale takes over for the end of July and beginning of August. This is the ONLY choir I do and we need audiences to help keep us going and recover from the pandemic. Even if you can't attend purchase a CD or make a donation to help us keep going.

Featured Offers of the Month

Pay What You Can/Free:

Many folks are using the summer to revamp their content (including me), if you need a little shove or a little accountability this is the place for you. We're over on Google classroom and it is a completely async program with the opportunity to grab a 1:1 session at a discounted rate (normally offered to my past 1:1 clients). Sign up here.

Mid-ticket: Drop in and regular VOICE lessons. This rarely comes about, but I can accommodate about two regular students and any number of drop-ins as we head into the fall. I've worked for years to develop a student-led, goal-oriented safe-for-all studio. I've flipped the traditional model on it's head. So if you're into a teacher who doesn't conform to all the standards, jump on in! Sign up for a free consultation. I teach online, in person, or hybrid whatever works best for you. Rates are $75/hr for regular lessons and $80/hr for drop-ins.

PS. If you think you can't afford it please reach out. I have a fund to help students afford lessons. If you'd like to donate, click here. Just followup with an email to let me know you're not reserving a spot, just donating to the pot!

High ticket: There are more than a few problems with social media and the online space right now, not the least of which is finding ethical, anti-racist, pro-LGBTQIA+, non-performative content (and creating said content) AND the over-saturation of millions (probs buh buh billions by now) of users AND the gosh darn algos. Well...I can't fix the algo or the over-saturation, but I can help you tell your story in a more ethical, anti-racist way - I can teach you to grow a community thru connection and help you share your art and your story. Branding Express is back bebe for the same price as before $850 (Reminder PAYMENT PLANS) - 8 weeks of one on one intense work to build a bulletproof brand and plenty of flexibility on platform and focus to get you a foundation to build your LEGACY. This it for you? Book a branding consultation.

Community Web News

Clara Byom is out and about on summer tour, check out her website or her socials for deets!

Violinist Aja Majkrzak: A Snapshot in Time: I'm making my way through the 30 Mazas etudes for violin. Every Monday I'm releasing a video of me sight reading the etude to Patreon. Then I'll use that video to diagnose what to work on through the week and release a video on YouTube by the following Sunday. The idea is to share my process and what kind of progress can actually be made in one week. Like any live performance, these videos are just a snapshot in time.

If you'd like to be added to this section of the newsletter, please respond to this email with your promotion & I'll fit you in!

Continue to be antiracist & love ya'll hardcore,
